Alarm Clock
Alarm Clock is a free time tool that runs directly in your browser with no account required.
About this tool
Set an online alarm for a specific clock time and leave the tab open — it rings with a sound, a flashing tab title, and an optional desktop notification when that time arrives. A live countdown shows exactly how long until it goes off. Useful as a reminder, a wake-up alarm, or a meeting nudge.
How to use
- Choose the Alarm time (24-hour clock).
- Optionally add a Label such as "Meeting" or "Leave now".
- Press Set alarm; a countdown shows the time remaining until it rings.
- When the alarm fires, press Dismiss to stop the sound.
Frequently asked questions
What happens if the chosen time has already passed today?
The alarm is scheduled for that time on the next day, so setting 07:00 in the afternoon rings the following morning.
Does the alarm work if the tab is in the background?
Yes. The sound and flashing tab title fire in the background, and a desktop notification is sent if you allowed notifications. The tab must stay open — the alarm cannot ring if the browser is fully closed.
Do I have to keep the tab open?
Yes. Because everything runs locally in the browser with no server, the page must remain open for the alarm to trigger. You can leave it in a background tab.
Is my alarm time uploaded anywhere?
No. The time, label, and sound are handled entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server and no account is required.
