About this tool

This calculator forecasts website ad revenue from monthly visitors, pages per visitor, page RPM, and ad fill rate. It reports projected monthly revenue, effective RPM, revenue per visitor, and an annual run rate, and answers two planning questions directly: how many visitors you need for $10k per month, and what RPM would get you there at current traffic. Scenario rows test 25% gains in traffic, RPM, and engagement, with CSV export.

How to use

  1. Enter your Monthly visitors and average Pages per visitor.
  2. Set your Page RPM (revenue per 1,000 pageviews) and Ad fill rate %.

Frequently asked questions

How is projected revenue calculated?

Visitors times pages per visitor gives pageviews; multiplying by the fill rate gives filled pageviews; revenue is filled pageviews divided by 1,000 times your page RPM.

What is the difference between CPM and RPM?

CPM is what advertisers pay per 1,000 impressions; RPM is what you earn per 1,000 pageviews after the ad network's share and unfilled inventory. This tool works in RPM because that is what publisher dashboards report.

What does the Known revenue field do?

If you enter last month's actual earnings, the tool divides it by your pageviews to show your real effective RPM, which you can compare against the RPM you assumed.

How are the $10k-per-month figures derived?

Visitors for $10k divides 10,000 by your current revenue per visitor; RPM lift for $10k computes the page RPM your current filled pageviews would need to produce $10,000.

What do the scenario rows compare?

Your baseline against 25% more traffic, 25% higher RPM, and 25% more pages per visitor — useful for deciding whether to invest in growth, ad optimization, or engagement.

Is my traffic data sent to a server?

No. The forecast and CSV are generated locally in your browser, and results are directional estimates since RPM varies by season, geography, and content.
